These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of hookpick's website and services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

hookpick provides software tools intended to help with finance and accounting workflows. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.

Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to access systems or data you are not authorized to use
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users
• Misuse third-party credentials or portals connected through the Service
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service except as allowed by law

You retain rights to data you submit. You grant hookpick a limited license to host, process, and use that data as needed to provide the Service. If you connect third-party accounts, you represent that you have the right to do so and that your use complies with those providers' terms.

The Service may rely on or link to third parties (for example hosting, authentication, email, or utility portals). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. hookpick is not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, hookpick and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid us.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we need to protect the Service or others. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we revise them.
